Abstract

INTRODUCTION: The right to the recognition or investigation of paternity, maternity or filiation is a constitutional right, widely defended by laws and doctrines. When this issue is portrayed, it is necessary to understand that it is permeated by other situations, such as very personal, family, inheritance and fundamental rights. The present project intends to present an event that took place in Patrocínio/MG, for the first time in the Comarca, the Mutirão “Direito a ter Pai 2021”.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the realization of the Mutirão “Direito a ter pai 2021” and observe the practice of the right to paternity / maternity / filiation, thus systematizing the cases of recognition, as well as the agreements made and the functioning of the collective effort.

MATERIAL AND METHODS: Initially, the procedure was Bibliographic Research in books and articles, seeking to expand knowledge through field research, using the quali-quanti method, in order to collect data on the number of DNA tests, as well as how many agreements of voluntary recognition of paternity/maternity were carried out. RESULTS: It can be said that Mutirão is the biggest event in the history of the Public Defender's Office of Minas Gerais until the year 2021, as it had the historic participation of 55 units of the State's Public Defender's Office.

CONCLUSION: Considering the guidelines and actions for the realization of this fundamental right, it is observed that all the goals and objectives of the Mutirão were achieved. The research referred to here aims to inform about the Mutirão and its realization, as well as about the fundamental right to the state of affiliation.
